Common lionfish

Family Scorpaenidae. Lionfishes are conspicuous fish with long pectral and dorsal fins and characteristic color. But the spines of their long fins are venomous, and if you are stung by them, you feel terrible pain. If you see this fish in the sea, you must not touch it. Lionfish is not on the market, but if you eat it, it tastes good.
