Length to 3m. The pacific bluefin tuna is distributed widely in torpical - temperate waters in the world. It is the best as a material of sashimi and sushi. The fatty meat of bluefin tuna specially pleases Japanese. Recently, tuna's resources decrease by the indiscriminate fishing. In Kushimoto, bluefin culture is popular, and bluefins of our aquarium are raised fish, too.
