Plotosus japonicus
Striped catfish
| Family Plotosidae. Length to 20cm. It is a species of the catfish with
8 barbels around the mouth. This species has venemous spines at the pectral
and dorsal fins that can cause an extremely painful wound. The striped
catfish is ofen caught by fishing at the breakwater and reef, but you must
be careful when you remove it from the fishing hook. |
